"I have been working with DeWayne for a year. When I came to him, I was struggling with trying to loose weight that I had gained when pregnant with my son. I was feeling discouraged and I knew that I needed help. Finding DeWayne as my personal trainer is the best thing that could have happened to me on my journey to fitness. His kindness, positivity, patience, and expertise combine to make him a truly special person. Under his supervision, I became dedicated to working out three days a week and to changing my diet. "I am lifelong runner and also compete in triathlons. I am 40 years old, a wife and mom of two, and currently working as a STOTT certified pilates instructor.

 

When DeWayne and I first started working together we reviewed my fitness goals, analyzed my current diet, and came up with a targeted fitness plan that focused on increased triathlon speed and endurance but also keeping me injury free. I had experienced IT band pain frequently as well as some upper back issues from a previous surgery. DeWayne utilized multiple pieces of equipment and props to provide me with a balanced and effective workout. We worked on glute strength, scapula mobility, overall conditioning, balance and endurance.

 

He was very successful with pushing me, motivating and inspiring me to do my best and I always looked forward to our sessions. During weeks of travel for my previous job he would provide me with "hotel" workouts that allowed me to maximize what I had to work with in hotel gyms.
